Material submitted by CHRIS ALLEN -- Director of the Utah Chapter of American Atheists from 1982 to 1993; from 1994 to 2001 leader of Utah Atheists.
Updated 03/20/2006

I encourage you to get the most mileage out of your writing efforts -- that is, I encourage you to submit your article for publication in other daily newspapers in Utah. Your article must reach as many people as possible.  Letters sent to newspapers help to educate and shape the opinions of those who write editorials in the newspapers, and those editorials also reach many others. Often radio and TV news coverage and editorializing takes a cue from the newspapers, so the resulting leverage can be impressive. -- Chris Allen

Patriotism is the conviction that this country is superior to all other countries because you were born in it.

-- George B. Shaw

I don't want to believe. I want to know.

-- Carl Sagan
When you understand why you do not believe in other gods, then you will understand why I don't believe in yours.
