												I had eaten
												there once before. But today I
												just wanted to park my car on
												the street. This business had
												confiscated several public
												parking spaces as its own. A
												verbal fight ensued with the
												elder of the two attendants. He
												volunteered that he works there
												for free, and though not
												actually denying my right to
												park on the pubic parking in the
												street, he told me several times
												to park elsewhere. Parking is
												very scarce in this
												neighbourhood. I did not want to
												return to find my tires
												flattened. After all this, I
												left.  | ||||

| Letter to Mayor Rocky Anderson... Dear Rocky – I noticed that several businesses are claiming public parking spaces in Salt Lake City as their valet parking staging areas. When I tried to park at Buca di Beppo restaurant at 202 West 300 South street, a belligerent parking attendant denied me access to that public space. Please do something about this and let me know what you did. I appreciate your response and thank you in advance. Signed |
