American Atheists were present to counter - demonstrate at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, in January 2011 to protest the Westboro Baptist church. Five atheists from Salt Lake Valley Atheists and about 200 people including actor and director Kevin Smith participated in the protest. We passed out copies of the American Atheist magazine that featured an earlier protest of of the hate group. Lots of fun and action.
